The Client was looking for support in developing its macro-research capabilities. The requirement was to develop a database to capture economic indicators, track key events, central bank’s policy statements, and other macro-economic news flow. The data was then required to be analyzed and presented in a form of monthly report. The client required regular offshore- analyst bandwidth to support the Chief Economist.

Solution Provided:

We selected a team member with background in economics and data analytics to address the client requirement. A senior analyst was appointed as a single point of contact to help in seamless workflow management. The team member developed an economic calendar to track data releases and capture meta data in the database. The macro data was then analyzed, and insights were reported in a presentable format which was used for writing research reports and presentations.
